Join a service committed to excellence, compassion and patient‑centred care What you'll be doing As a Clinical Neuropsychologist, you will provide comprehensive neuropsychological assessment, diagnosis and rehabilitation support for clients with brain injury across outpatient and inpatient settings. You will play a key role in translating assessment findings into practical rehabilitation strategies that support patient independence, wellbeing and participation in everyday life. In this role you will be required to: Conduct neuropsychological assessments and formulate clinical recommendations. Provide guidance regarding cognition, capacity, behaviour and psychological function. Develop strategies to support clients, families and rehabilitation teams. Prepare detailed clinical reports and deliver verbal and written feedback. Collaborate with medical, allied health and rehabilitation professionals across the service. Qualification: Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) accredited Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Clinical Neuropsychology Registration: Current full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia and endorsement to practice in the area of Clinical Neuropsychology or eligibility to progress to endorsement through the registrar program. Selection Criteria Post‑graduate work experience in the neuropsychological assessment of adults with traumatic brain injuries. Experience in the neuropsychological assessment of capacity as it relates to issues such as work, driving, financial management, and guardianship. Experience and knowledge in the assessment and management of psychological effects of traumatic brain injury such as depression and post traumatic stress disorder. Evidence of ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Evidence of effective written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated use of the principles of evidence‑based practice.
