The Opportunity Our national Water business is growing fast — and we’re looking for a Project Manager to help deliver some of Australia’s most important water programs. In this role, you’ll drive project excellence, embed strong commercial and delivery practices, and keep our teams performing at their best. You will: Support or lead project management on water infrastructure projects nationally with support from SPMs and Team Managers. Manage the design delivery of medium–large projects and programs in line with WSP delivery standards Embed robust project controls, contract admin and cost planning Track internal costs and deliver clear, accurate client reporting Identify, manage and negotiate project changes with clients Ensure compliance with our Integrated Management System, including audits and quality checks Apply risk management frameworks across all project processes Champion a strong safety culture and ensure safe delivery for all teams What We’ll Love About You You’re proactive, commercially aware and comfortable influencing at all levels. You can balance competing priorities, collaborate with technical experts and keep projects running smoothly, even across multiple offices and project streams. You will bring: A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or project management 5+ years’ experience and proven project delivery on D&C water infrastructure projects Background in engineering consulting with design management experience highly desirable Strong interpersonal skills, with experience working across distributed teams Ability to manage multiple tasks across several live projects Good understanding of contracts, change management and drafting variations Competency in cost reporting, financial analysis, Excel and Word Experience setting up systems for project files, data control and compliance Proven experience in managing project budgets and using financial tools Strong written communication skills, including preparing high‑quality reports Why Choose WSP?
