Head of Department - Student Services at Coolum State High School Lead the Student Services team at Coolum State High School in this temporary Head of Department opportunity until 11 December 2026, unless otherwise determined. This role is suited to an experienced educator with strong instructional leadership capability in education. You will drive curriculum excellence, strengthen teaching and learning practices, and support high expectations for student achievement, engagement and academic success across the faculty. Location Located in Coolum Beach on the Sunshine Coast, the school is positioned within a coastal regional setting offering access to strong community infrastructure and nearby major centres including Noosa and Maroochydore. Key Responsibilities Lead curriculum focus in line with school and departmental initiatives Participate in delivering the vision of State Schools Division Develop the quality of teaching and learning Nurture positive relationships between students, teachers and stakeholders Reporting The Head of Department is accountable to and under the direction of the Principal or delegate.
