What You’ll Be Doing Leading, coaching and motivating a multi‑skilled team in a trade‑driven store environment Being hands‑on on the floor, supporting staff and customers throughout the day Overseeing daily store operations including stock flow, merchandising and trade order fulfilment Coordinating and managing deliveries, logistics and stock management Ensuring strong product knowledge across the team to support trade and builder customers Driving operational efficiency, safety standards and sales performance Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, builders, and internal cross‑functional teams Working closely with ownership and leadership to deliver business and operational goals What we’re looking for A sales‑driven, experienced operational leader who leads by example Experience in understanding and analysing financial reporting Strong understanding of trade customers, products and supply flow Proven ability to motivate, develop and hold teams accountable Background in hardware, trade, construction supply or big‑box retail (highly desirable) Organised, practical and solution‑focused with a strong work ethic Someone who is committed to succession planning and building capability for future growth Why join Metcash at Mitre 10 Torrensville Trade Centre We’re proud to offer a workplace that supports your well‑being, growth and belonging.
