Responsibilities Providing safe, timely and patient-centred nursing care in consultation with the healthcare team, including patient assessment and response to change, delegation, direction and supervision of patient care. Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and ensure appropriate documentation in line with hospital policies and clinical standards. Delivering high-quality post-operative care, including monitoring observations, pain management, wound review and identifying clinical deterioration. Providing support and education to patients and families about surgical procedures, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
