National Business Manager - Security Solutions The National Business Manager – Security Services is responsible for driving national growth through strategic client engagement, pursuits, and solution development across security and technology services. This role focuses on winning new work, leading tenders and building long-term partnerships of Nationwide Security Services Division. This role is accountable for driving revenue growth, managing profitability, securing new business opportunities, overseeing tender and bid submissions, maintaining key client relationships across Australia. The position requires a strong understanding of both physical security and electronic security technologies, together with sound knowledge of risk management, compliance, and security industry best practices. The National Business Manager will work closely with the senior leadership team to execute the company's strategic objectives and position Nationwide as a leading provider of integrated security solutions. The role is advertised in VIC, however, we are open to applicants from NSW and QLD. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Growth Develop and execute the national growth strategy for the Security Services Division. Identify and secure new business opportunities across government, commercial, industrial, retail, education, healthcare, and critical infrastructure sectors. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, consultants, procurement teams, and industry stakeholders. Lead strategic pursuits and major contract opportunities. Represent Nationwide at industry events, networking functions, and client engagements. Tender & Bid Management Lead the end-to-end tender and bid management process. Identify, qualify, and prioritise tender opportunities aligned with business objectives. Coordinate bid teams to prepare high-quality, compliant, and commercially competitive submissions. Ensure all submissions meet client requirements, deadlines, and quality standards. Develop bid strategies that maximise win rates and profitability. Conduct tender debriefs and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Contribute to the overall financial performance of the Security Services Division. Support Nationwide’s pricing models, commercial strategy and positioning. Drive profitability and identify opportunities for operational efficiencies. Ensure pricing models and commercial proposals deliver sustainable returns. Prepare and present monthly performance reports to the CEO. Maintain accountability for achieving divisional financial targets and KPIs. Security Technology & Innovation Maintain a strong understanding of contemporary security technologies including: CCTV & Video Analytics Access Control Systems Remote Monitoring Solutions ANPR/LPR Technologies Integrated Security Platforms AI and Smart Security Solutions Identify opportunities to integrate technology solutions into client offerings. Support cross-selling opportunities between physical security and electronic security services. Risk, Compliance & Governance Ensure compliance with all applicable security licensing, legislation, and regulatory requirements. Maintain awareness of industry standards and best practices. Support WHS, risk management, and quality assurance initiatives. Ensure contract delivery aligns with client compliance obligations. Assist in developing and implementing security risk mitigation strategies. Leadership & Collaboration The National Business Manager is expected to: Lead by example and uphold the values of Nationwide Group. Foster collaboration across all business units. Work collaboratively across Operations and Technology teams. Drive innovation and continuous improvement. Build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Performance will be measured against: Revenue growth. Gross margin achievement. Business Development New contract wins. Tender success rate. Strategic Growth of integrated security solutions. Skills & Experience Minimum 5 years' senior management experience within the security industry. Demonstrated success in business development and major contract acquisition. Proven experience managing complex tender submissions. Strong financial and commercial acumen. Sound understanding of physical security operations. Strong knowledge of electronic security technologies. Experience in contract management and stakeholder engagement. Excellent leadership and people management skills. Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities. Diploma or Degree in Business, Security Management, Risk Management, or related field. CPP, PSP, ASIAL, or other relevant industry qualifications. Experience working with government and critical infrastructure clients. Remuneration Package Salary Range $150k - $200k Package Additional Benefits Fully maintained company vehicle.
