About the role Lighthouse Christian College – Keysborough is seeking a passionate and qualified VCE English Teacher to join our dynamic team. This full-time role is based in Keysborough, VIC 3173, and offers the opportunity to play a vital part in shaping the education and development of our secondary students. What you’ll be doing Plan and deliver engaging and effective VCE English lessons to secondary students Assess and provide feedback on student work to support their learning and growth Actively participate in curriculum development and implementation Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and continuously improve teaching methods Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities Undertake other duties as required to support the overall functioning of the college What we’re looking for A Bachelor of Education or a postgraduate teaching degree (Master of Teaching) A current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration 5 Years of demonstrated teaching experience with a minimum of 3 Years VCE English experience is essential. Experience in VCE English marking will be an advantage.
