We are partnering with a growing apparel sourcing, product development and manufacturing business that works with some of Australia's most recognised fashion, swimwear and lifestyle brands. Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has been created for an experienced Production Manager to join the team. This is a highly hands-on role that combines product development, production management and client relationship management. You'll take ownership of client accounts from initial brief through to final production, ensuring exceptional service, quality outcomes and seamless execution at every stage of the process. If you enjoy working closely with brands, fabrics, garments and suppliers while managing the complete product lifecycle, this could be the perfect next step. The Role As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients and overseeing projects from concept through to delivery. Key responsibilities include: Managing client relationships and acting as the primary point of contact throughout the development and production process Interpreting customer briefs and translating concepts into commercially viable products Creating and managing seasonal development schedules and critical paths Working closely with suppliers and factories to source fabrics, trims and components Coordinating product development, sampling and approvals Managing garment costing and product specifications Monitoring production timelines and ensuring all deadlines are met Reviewing samples, attending fittings and overseeing quality standards Managing vendor communication and factory relationships Presenting development and production updates to clients Ensuring products meet both technical and commercial requirements Maintaining accurate reporting, trackers and production documentation About You To be successful, you'll bring: Experience within the apparel, fashion, swimwear or lifestyle industry Strong understanding of garment construction and fit Excellent fabric and textile knowledge Experience managing product development and production processes Confidence working directly with suppliers and manufacturers Strong organisational and project management skills Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities A solutions-focused and proactive approach Mandarin language skills are welcomed but are not essential.
