Little Oaks Early Learning is a warm, family-owned 46-place long day care service seeking an experienced, passionate, and confident Centre Director who will also undertake the role of Educational Leader and Nominated Supervisor . We are looking for a strong leader who is passionate about high-quality early childhood education, building positive relationships with families and staff, and leading a supportive and collaborative team culture. About the Role This is a leadership position responsible for the overall day-to-day management of the service while also leading educational practice across the centre as the Educational Leader. The successful candidate will: Oversee daily centre operations, compliance, and administration Lead, mentor, and support educators across both rooms Fulfil the role of Educational Leader , guiding curriculum, programming, reflective practice, and quality improvement Support educators in implementing high-quality educational programs aligned with the EYLF and NQS Foster strong relationships with children, families, and the local community Manage staffing, rosters, and ratios Ensure compliance with the Education and Care Services National Regulations and Child Safe Standards Fulfil the role of Nominated Supervisor Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education Previous leadership experience within an early childhood service Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, National Regulations, and Child Safe Standards Confidence leading educational practice and mentoring educators Ability and willingness to undertake the role of Educational Leader Ability to fulfil the role of Nominated Supervisor Current NSW Working With Children Check Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills What We Offer Supportive and approachable family-owned management Positive team culture with strong support from ownership Opportunity to genuinely influence and shape the service Ongoing professional development and support Well-resourced learning environments Competitive salary based on experience The hourly rate includes the Workers Retention Payment; however, it is negotiable for the right candidate based on industry experience held.
