Senior Civil Engineer – Multisector Infrastructure Responsibilities Prepare and review detailed civil design, drawings, models, and documentation using AutoCAD, 12d, Civil 3D, and other relevant design tools. Design civil infrastructure across roads, transport corridors, bulk earthworks, hardstand areas, industrial and defence facilities, public domain works, and building interfaces. Design stormwater, drainage and civil water infrastructure, including piped networks, open channels, detention systems, WSUD, and flood mitigation solutions. Support energy, utilities and building projects with site development, access, pavements, services coordination, and constructability inputs. Ensure all designs comply with project briefs, relevant codes, regulations, and sustainability requirements. Coordinate with clients, internal disciplines, external consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders for seamless multidisciplinary project integration and delivery. Prepare feasibility studies, multi‑criteria option assessments, technical reporting, proposals and tender documentation. Coordinate multidisciplinary disciplines such as utilities, pavement and structural design. Conduct site visits and inspections and provide direction to contractor partners as required. Qualifications Minimum 10 years of civil engineering design experience. Experience across transport, land development, water, energy, defence, industrial or building‑related civil works. Demonstrated ability to apply core civil engineering principles across different project types and sectors. Proven skills in design and documentation of civil infrastructure to ANZ standards or similar. Proficiency in industry design software, including 12d, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD. Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering design standards and practices. Ability to coordinate and manage a multi‑disciplinary project team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, teamwork, and self‑motivation. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a multi‑location team setting.
