Site Engineer Job no: XXX, Work type: Full Time Permanent, Location: ACT, Categories: Engineering. Project Overview This Canberra based Site Engineer role is part of the Design and Construct upgrade of the Lower Molonglo Water Quality Control Centre, a critical piece of infrastructure supporting Canberra and the surrounding region. Working with ICON Water alongside Vinci Grande Projects and Beca, you’ll be on the ground helping modernise waste handling systems and future‑proof the plant for growth and changing environmental standards. Responsibilities Provide on-site engineering support to deliver civil works safely and efficiently. Manage quality through method statements, ITPs and inspections. Track daily productivity and support programme planning and reporting. Coordinate subcontractors, verifying progress claims and variations. Support cost control, procurement and compliance with Seymour Whyte systems. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification. Experience working as a Site Engineer on civil construction projects. Strong understanding of safety legislation, Australian Standards and quality systems. Confidence producing short‑term programmes and monitoring progress on site. Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a busy site team.
