The Client Project Operations team provides governance, operational discipline and delivery support across QTC’s Advisory Division and Queensland Government Consulting Services (QGCS). The team partners closely with project leads and senior sponsors to ensure client projects are well‑governed, effectively managed and delivered to QTC standards. We’re seeking a Client Project Operations – Business Partner to support client‑facing teams by strengthening portfolio discipline, uplifting delivery capability and embedding fit‑for‑purpose governance and ways of working across Advisory and QGCS. Responsibilities Act as a senior advisor to Advisory and QGCS leaders, ensuring projects are governed, compliant and value‑focused Enable high‑quality delivery across a portfolio of advisory and consulting engagements Own and evolve client‑facing project and portfolio frameworks, tools and systems Provide hands‑on coaching and delivery support to project leads and teams Drive portfolio reporting, assurance and insights for leadership, board and ACC reporting Lead continuous improvement across portfolio operations, frameworks and tools Drive automation and process optimisation to improve efficiency and accuracy About You Strong experience in project and portfolio management within advisory or consulting environments A deep understanding of risk, compliance and governance frameworks The ability to coach, influence and build trust with senior stakeholders and delivery teams Strong data, reporting and analytical capability to generate actionable insights A continuous improvement mindset with experience streamlining and scaling delivery practices Qualifications & Experience Essential: Tertiary qualification and 5–10 years’ experience across portfolio, risk and delivery Desirable: Project management certification and public sector experience Benefit: a best‑in‑class professional development program, flexible work, leadership programs, study support, paid‑parental leave, salary packaging and a corporate wellbeing program—including discounts for you and your family to a range of fitness facilities close to home or work.
