Senior Manager Maintenance, APAC Location: Perth CBD, Australia Job Overview Responsible for functional leadership, performance and governance of Maintenance across the Asia‑Pacific region. You will provide strategic direction, manage a diverse matrix organisation and drive delivery excellence, safety, cost efficiency and client satisfaction across all maintenance activity in the region. Responsibilities Provide functional leadership for Maintenance across multiple countries in APAC. Drive delivery excellence, safety, cost efficiency and client satisfaction across all maintenance activity. Accountable for functional management and development of maintenance resources. Governance of maintenance practices, systems and procedures. Oversee the performance of all maintenance activity across APAC. Qualifications Must be able to work lawfully in Australia and hold full working rights. Ideally 20 years of proven experience leading Maintenance functions at a regional or multi‑country level in safety‑critical operating environments (Oil & Gas, Mining or Heavy Industrial). Degree‑qualified (Engineering or equivalent); other qualifications also considered. Demonstrated HSSEA leadership with a clear commitment to safe, ethical and compliant operations. Extensive technical expertise in Maintenance practices, systems and tools, with the ability to apply this knowledge pragmatically. Excellent commercial acumen, including cost control, productivity optimisation and margin enhancement across maintenance portfolios. Proven ability to work cross‑functionally, building effective partnerships with engineering, project management, business development and wider stakeholder groups. Articulate and influential communicator with clear and confident written and verbal communication skills, including professional report writing and senior‑level presentations. Leadership of people, capable of influencing, coaching and engendering an entrepreneurial spirit of cooperation to energise diverse teams to adopt best practice and pursue continuous improvement. Customer‑focused with an ability to develop trusted relationships while balancing operational excellence. Desirable Strategic leadership combined with hands‑on operational oversight, with proven experience building high‑performing maintenance teams in a similar regionally focused role.
