A Northern Star Resources employee presently available for an Alternate Underground Manager to join the team at our Carosue Dam operations in Western Australia, working on an 8 days on, 6 days off FIFO roster from Perth. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the operational teams including external contractors and/or Northern Star Mining Services. Generate operating plans and budgets that align with the Company’s operating requirements and maximise the underground mine’s contribution to the Operation. Prepare forecasts and develop mining strategy with assistance from the geology department, mining operations, planning and production engineers. Develop mine design, planning guidelines and strategies to optimise mining processes. Support the Underground Manager and Mining Manager in their statutory and strategic responsibilities and deliverables. Develop and maintain robust succession and talent management frameworks, ensuring defined accountabilities and consistent performance feedback. Qualifications WA First Class Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency. Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering. Site Senior Executive Certificate of Competency (Desirable) Passion for Growth Success in this role will be a high performing individual who proactively engage in safety processes and adherence to required controls. Actively monitors and promotes the STARR Core Values to facilitate continuous improvement, high quality work and the management of cost in line with business strategies.
