We are seeking a full-time Accountant to join our team. This role offers exposure across a broad range of accounting functions, with optional audit experience for candidates interested in developing in that area. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with 3–5 years experience who enjoys varied accounting work, values accuracy and professionalism, and wants to apply their technical skills in a supportive team environment. The opportunity In this role, you will assist with a variety of accounting and client-focused tasks, including: Preparing financial statements and management reports Preparing tax returns, BAS, GST and compliance work Supporting bookkeeping, reconciliations and month-end processes Working with clients and internal team members to resolve queries Assisting with audit-related work where required or where there is interest Maintaining accurate records and supporting general accounting functions What we’re looking for Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a similar field, or equivalent experience 3–5 years experience in accounting, business services or audit Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel High attention to detail and strong analytical skills Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise work effectively Strong communication skills and professional conduct Ability to work independently and as part of a team What we offer A supportive, family-owned business environment where your contribution is valued.
