The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate to join a highly regarded Corporate & Commercial team in Sydney. Working closely with respected senior practitioners, you will advise on a broad range of commercial and corporate matters for clients across a variety of industries, including well-known consumer and retail brands. This role offers excellent exposure to complex commercial transactions, strong client contact and genuine career progression within a collaborative and fast-paced team environment. The Role You will work on: Commercial transactions including procurement, supply, distribution and marketing arrangements; Joint ventures, M&A support and business acquisitions/divestments; Competition and consumer law matters, including unfair contract terms; Intellectual property commercialisation and corporate governance matters; Franchise and regulatory issues; and Day-to-day commercial legal advice for a diverse client base. About You You will ideally have: Minimum 3 years’ PQE gained within a reputable corporate and/or commercial practice; Strong drafting, technical and analytical skills; Excellent communication and client relationship skills; Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities; and A proactive, commercially minded and collaborative approach.
