You will work closely with senior consultants and other team members to contribute to the success of client engagements. The Opportunity This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a growing team. As a Junior Consultant or Consultant, you will work directly with experienced senior industry professionals to build the skills and abilities needed in a growing market. The Role Research and Analysis Conduct research and gather relevant data to support project objectives. Analyse information to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges. Assist in preparing reports and presentations for clients. Governance, Risk & Compliance Support Assist in developing and reviewing cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures. Support risk assessments and help identify gaps against frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and Essential Eight. Contribute to compliance audits and reporting for regulatory requirements and industry standards. Help document risk registers and track remediation activities. Participate in maturity assessments and assist in preparing recommendations for governance improvements. Client Interaction Collaborate with team members to understand client needs and expectations. Participate in client meetings and presentations to provide updates and gather feedback. Build and maintain positive relationships with clients through effective communication and responsiveness. Project Support Support the planning and execution of consulting projects. Assist in developing project timelines, deliverables, and milestones. Contribute to problem‑solving discussions and propose solutions. Documentation and Reporting Maintain accurate and organized project documentation. Prepare and contribute to progress reports, status updates, and other project-related documentation. Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards. Learning and Development Actively seek opportunities to expand knowledge and skills in the consulting and GRC field. Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance professional development. Stay informed about industry trends, compliance requirements, and best practices. The Person With 0–3 years’ experience, we are open to seeing applicants at the early stages of their career. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (business, finance, cybersecurity, risk management, etc.). Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when needed. Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic consulting environment. Preferred Qualifications Internship or relevant work experience in consulting, cybersecurity, or GRC. Familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, Essential Eight, or similar. Basic understanding of risk management and compliance processes.
