Reporting to the CHPP Manager, the purpose of this role is to ensure the efficient operations of all plant and optimum product recovery to meet targets. Duties will include Provide technical support and advice to ensure a successful ramp up and ongoing operations of the processing plant Work closely with operational team to provide ongoing coaching to drive plant efficiency. Oversee the onsite lab. Ensure lab technicians and personnel support ramp up activities and maintain safe practices in operation. Contribute to the identification, development and delivery of process improvements and opportunities within the CHPP. Monitor and report on the process plants performance. Evaluate operational risks and opportunities and ensure implementation of mitigation strategies. Ideally you will possess the following: Engineering degree ideally in Mineral Processing, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical or related discipline Minimum 5+ years’ experience in mineral comminution, beneficiation and solid/liquid separation technologies CHPP operational and technical experience Able to demonstrate a reasonable competence and understanding of: Production and maintenance management Uncompromising commitment to safety In addition to the above, you will have a genuine commitment to safety and demonstrate a sound understanding of risk and hazard identification.
