Overview Join Service Stream as an HSE Business Partner and play a key role in driving a strong, learning focused safety culture across our telecommunications operations. In this field‑facing role, you will partner with managers, crews, and subcontractors to coach, influence, and support safe work practices while ensuring compliance with HSE standards and client expectations. You will be highly visible in the field, engaging teams through practical conversations, supporting risk identification, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The role involves leading safety interactions, supporting audits and investigations, analysing safety performance, and embedding systems and tools that enhance safety outcomes. Responsibilities Drive a safety culture implementation across field operations. Coach and influence managers, crews, and subcontractors on safe work practices. Ensure compliance with HSE standards and client expectations. Engage teams in practical conversations about risk identification and improvement. Lead safety interactions and support audits and investigations. Analyse safety performance and embed systems and tools to enhance safety outcomes. Qualifications A relevant qualification in an WHS / environment, engineering, construction, business or related discipline (highly regarded). Certificate IV in WHS or equivalent (minimum). Event Investigation Qualified – preferably ICAM Lead Investigator. Current Australian Full Driver’s License. White Card (construction industry safe work). Cert IV in Training and Assessment (desirable). Experience 2+ years in Health and Safety, preferably within infrastructure, construction or mining industries. Working knowledge of Legislation, Standards and Codes, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001/AS/NZS 4801 and the Office of the Federal HSE Commissioner (OFSC). Experience managing HSE requirements on major engineering or construction projects with strong track record of working with project contractors.
