What is the Cyber AI Guild? Cybersecurity has been an exciting and fast‑moving space for decades, and the explosive growth in AI capabilities in the last two years has certainly matched it for the pace of change. Our cyber teams look for opportunities to both bring cyber‑safety to everyone’s use of AI and to apply AI tools to cyber tools. In service of this, we’re looking to turbocharge our approach through a Cyber AI Guild, within our Information Security Group. The Guild will be a virtual team, bringing together AI specialists across our Cyber functions, helping us to keep up‐to‑date with the bleeding edge of capability, bring AI capabilities into cyber to drive pragmatic change, and to help the broader organisation adopt AI capabilities in cyber‑safe ways. About the role This role will be charged with creating the Cyber AI Guild and growing it. It will bring together people who are passionate about cyber and AI, help them create a common identity, and work together as a virtual team to accelerate improvements in how we work. You will act as a champion and advocate for the Cyber AI Guild, facilitating collaboration and driving AI proficiency within the Information Security Group. What you need to have A genuine passion for Cybersecurity and for AI, and a desire to share that passion with others. A sophisticated understanding of multiple AI tools – and the ability to clearly explain where they’re great, and where they’re not the right tool for the job. A history of experimenting with many AI tools and knowing their pros, cons and potential risks. A demonstrated pattern of life‑long learning (nothing stays still for long in cyber or AI). Experience organising, inspiring, and leading virtual teams, community groups, volunteers, or similar. Also excellent communication skills. At least some understanding of cyber and excitement to learn. You do not need to know how to write code, and you do not need to have cyber‑specialist experience. Why join us Special offers on banking products and discounts from top brands, including generous employee only mortgage rates. Flexible work arrangements to help you achieve a greater work/life balance, and a variety of leave options including Culture, Lifestyle and Wellbeing leave. Tailored learning and development opportunities to help you grow your career within the bank. Lots of opportunities to ‘give back’ to the community by getting involved in our many volunteering initiatives. We’re all about creating a supportive and inclusive community. We welcome everyone no matter your age, gender, background, or abilities. We also provide additional support to welcome our veterans, Indigenous Australians and neurodiverse community. #J-18808-Ljbffr
