Lead Data / BI Analyst – SAP BusinessObjects Melbourne or Canberra Initial 12 + up to 24 month contract Australian Citizens only Lead EL1 – very attractive hourly rate Overview We are currently seeking a Lead Data / BI Analyst for a long‑term contract opportunity within a large, complex enterprise Federal Government environment. This opportunity is suited to a Senior Data / BI professional with strong experience delivering analytics and reporting solutions across large-scale, highly integrated enterprise data environments. The key focus is on candidates with proven hands‑on experience across SAP BusinessObjects, Power BI, enterprise data warehouse environments and large‑scale data analytics delivery. Key experience required We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate: 4+ years’ experience developing Universes and Reports in SAP BusinessObjects Experience developing dashboards in Power BI Report Server or Power BI Service Working knowledge of Cloudera Data Lake and Teradata EDW Proven experience designing and delivering data analytics solutions for large and complex projects Strong experience working across enterprise data environments, reporting platforms and business intelligence solutions The ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Ideal background This role would suit someone who has operated at a lead / senior data analyst / BI analyst / data manager level, ideally within a large enterprise, Federal Government or similarly complex environment. You will need to be an Australian citizen, based in either VIC or ACT and comfortable working with complex data landscapes, established enterprise reporting platforms and stakeholders who rely on accurate, trusted and well‑presented data insights.
