Our client is a globally recognized manufacturer specializing in upholstered furniture, known for their strong product innovation, quality craftsmanship, and long-standing retail partnerships. They are currently looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to support our continued growth by managing strategic retail relationships across Australia and New Zealand. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement account strategies to drive sustainable revenue growth and profitability. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across retail partners, including buying, merchandising, supply chain, marketing, and senior leadership teams. Identify opportunities to expand product listings, increase floor presence, and strengthen brand visibility in retail outlets. Lead all commercial activities for assigned accounts, including product presentations, range reviews, proposals, negotiations, pricing discussions, and promotional planning. Work closely with internal teams such as product development, marketing, and operations to ensure customer requirements are effectively supported. Track industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform account strategies. Provide regular sales updates, forecasts, and performance reports. Conduct store visits to monitor product presentation, gather feedback from retail partners, and deliver product training where required. Represent the company at relevant trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events. Key Requirements Proven experience managing key or national accounts within the furniture or home & living retail sector . Strong commercial awareness with the ability to negotiate effectively and deliver profitable outcomes. Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong digital literacy and adaptability in a dynamic business environment. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
