Senior Associate – Major Projects & Construction Join a tier‑one ranked Major Projects & Constructions practice. Collaborate and contribute to a successful and impactful Major Projects & Construction team. Work with a variety of clients, and bring to life some of the most significant and game‑changing projects in Victoria. The CU Major Projects and Construction team is involved in many of the largest and most significant infrastructure and procurement projects in the country. In this role, you will act for a wide range of public and private sector clients across the transport, social infrastructure, energy, health, housing and telecommunications sectors. As the "go to" projects practice when the stakes are high, you will work closely with clients providing trusted advice on every stage of the project, from business case to procurement through to delivery. Responsibilities Provide timely, accurate and commercially astute advice to clients. Engage in every stage of the project, from business case to procurement to delivery. Represent owners, developers, project sponsors, government agencies, financiers, project managers, consultants and contractors. Collaborate with a dynamic and supportive team, advising on large and high‑profile projects and procurements. Challenge yourself with exposure to a variety of clients and matters across various industry sectors. Qualifications Experience at Senior Associate level with a background and passion in construction and projects. High quality private practice experience and/or exceptional experience working in‑house within the government/construction/projects industry. Strong academic ability and drafting skills. Strong sense of purpose, ambition and a proactive approach to work. Ability to provide timely, accurate and commercially astute advice. Resilient, self‑starter able to work autonomously with a focus on attention to detail and outstanding client service. Ability to travel interstate and internationally periodically.
