We are seeking an experienced SMP Supervisor to lead the construction, installation, and commissioning support for a major Dome Structure Project within the mining sector. This role is ideal for a technically strong leader who can coordinate multidisciplinary crews and ensure all structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. The Role Ensure all works are completed strictly in accordance with approved drawings and material lists Maintain full traceability of all works undertaken Oversee construction and erection of SMP components for the dome structure Supervise installation of principal supplied structural, mechanical, and E&I equipment Process material take offs and support procurement planning Ensure all field inspection checklists are completed with client representatives Manage labour relations and maintain a harmonious workplace Coordinate site logistics, laydown areas, and material handling Perform additional duties as required to support operational needs About You Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or relevant trade White Card / Blue Card C Class Driver's Licence EWP High Risk Licence Working at Heights certification Confined Space certification Minimum 5 years' experience in SMP supervision or related discipline Strong background in mining, construction, or heavy industry Proven experience in project planning and resource management Civmec + You At Civmec, we offer an inclusive workplace built on family values, with a ‘Never Assume' culture, sustained by our experienced and supportive management team.
