The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high‑quality clinical care to patients across Western Health, supervising and training Junior Medical Staff, and contributing to the organization’s strategic priorities and ongoing clinical excellence initiatives. The Unit provides substantial opportunities for peer review, case discussion, and multidisciplinary collaboration, supporting continuous professional development and evidence‑based practice. Provide expert clinical care in Thoracic Surgery, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients undergoing elective and emergency procedures. Supervise, mentor, and support Junior Medical Staff, including registrars, HMOs, and interns, ensuring high standards of clinical practice and professional development.
