We are partnering with a leading enterprise organisation undergoing a major cloud-native security transformation across large-scale AWS and containerised environments. They are seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to help drive modern security practices across Kubernetes platforms, container environments, CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure within a highly automated multi-cloud ecosystem. This is a hands-on engineering-focused role working closely with platform engineering, DevOps and cyber security teams to embed security directly into modern cloud-native environments. Responsibilities Design and implement security controls across AWS, Kubernetes and containerised environments Embed security into CI/CD pipelines and engineering workflows Drive container security initiatives across build, registry and runtime environments Support secure-by-design practices across cloud-native platforms and modern application environments Implement automated security controls, remediation and policy enforcement Work closely with platform engineering and DevOps teams to improve overall security posture Support vulnerability management and security tooling across cloud environments Contribute towards cloud security standards, frameworks and modern engineering practices Key Experience Required Strong AWS security engineering experience Hands-on Kubernetes and container security expertise Background within DevSecOps or cloud platform engineering environments Experience securing CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery environments Strong understanding of container lifecycle security and runtime protection Experience with Infrastructure as Code tooling such as Terraform or CloudFormation Scripting or development capability across Python, Go or similar Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and microservices environments EKS security experience Container image signing / SBOM exposure Experience with SAST, SCA or software supply chain security tooling Kubernetes certifications (CKA / CKS) AWS Security or cloud security certifications Why Apply?
