SA Health is how we describe the public health system as a whole. It includes the Department, the Local Health Networks and Statewide Clinical Support Services, SA Ambulance Service, SA Dental Service, Prison Health, and Drug and Alcohol Services SA. Governance changes from 1 July 2019 supported the establishment of 10 Local Health Network (LHN) Governing Boards, accountable to the Minister for Health and Wellbeing for delivering health care services to their respective local population and communities working as part of the health system across SA. Responsibilities Lead Digital Health SA (DHSA) portfolio projects and new initiatives, ensuring alignment with the Digital Health Strategy and Enterprise Architecture, which are developed and maintained as an integral component of the role. Ensure Project Managers for the individual Projects engage the most appropriate capabilities and skills mix that will be required to deliver their respective Projects. Provide overall integrity and coherence of the Portfolio of Digital Health Projects. Lead and manage the internal service providers and 3rd party vendors to ensure that all aspects of the Portfolio projects are effectively coordinated. Report Digital Portfolio progress to the Digital Health SA Steering Committee, Risk Management and Audit Committee, and any other pertinent committees and sub-committees. Attend and effectively contribute to the Project Boards of the significant projects. Direct and oversee the DHSA Program Management Office (PMO) and the in-flight projects. Contribute high level and expert advice in system wide strategic projects for the SA Health system. Drive, develop, and maintain excellent working relationships and continuous positive interaction with critical stakeholders across SA Health to ensure alignment of the Portfolio outcomes to SA Health and Government reform.
