Location: Melbourne - CBD and Inner Metro suburbs Reference: 1697 The Administration Officer, Resources Development provides high quality administrative and operational support to enable the effective delivery of projects, events and ensure the efficient communication of geoscience data. The Administration Officer is responsible for maintaining accurate geoscience records and data, supporting the organisation of conferences and events, contributing to the development of marketing and promotional material, and coordinating communication with internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present geoscience data clearly to support marketing, investment and briefing activities. Demonstrated experience in providing a broad range of administrative support to a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with the ability to meet timelines and deliver consistently high-quality work. Well-developed planning and organisational skills with the capacity to use initiative and flexibility in managing a multifaceted, variable workload. Demonstrated experience compiling, maintaining and managing datasets, particularly within the minerals, energy or quarry sectors would be advantageous. A tertiary qualification in geoscience or another relevant field would be well regarded. This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is Melbourne CBD with hybrid work arrangements available. Preferred candidates will be required to undertake pre-employment screening, including a Declaration and Consent form and a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check.
