Full-time, fixed-term or secondment opportnity until 18 January 2027Exciting opportunity to support research activity within the School of Project ManagementBase Salary, $103,185 - $111,237 (HEO6) p.a + 17% superannuationAbout the opportunityThe School of Project Management is seeking a highly organised and proactive Research Administration Officer to provide comprehensive administrative support across the School’s research and research education portfolios.In this role, you will coordinate administrative services related to research data collection, ensuring processes are efficient, accurate, and well‑governed. You will also support ethics submissions, grant applications, and the delivery of research‑related initiatives, working closely with academic and professional staff across the School.Your key responsibilities will be to:provide high‑level administrative support to the Associate Heads of Research and Research Education, contributing to both strategic and operational prioritiesmanage all Research and Research Education administrative requests at the School level, including WHS and staff induction processescoordinate events and research seminars, and provide secretariat support to the School’s Research and Research Education Committeesdeliver School‑specific administrative support for research grant and scholarship applicationssupport the coordination and implementation of new School, Faculty, or University initiatives as required.About youdemonstrated experience working within the higher education sectorexperience interpreting and applying legislation, policies, and proceduresproven experience providing administrative support to researchers and research‑related activitiesprevious experience performing operational or administrative duties within a complex organisationstrong analytical and problem‑solving capabilitieshigh level of computer literacy and confidence using digital systemswell‑developed critical thinking and decision‑making skillsexcellent planning, organisational, and time‑management skillsclear and effective written and verbal communication skillsdemonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team environmentstrong project management capability with a high level of attention to detail.Sponsorship / work rights for AustraliaYou must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to be eligible to apply.
