A leading global company in the construction, infrastructure and energy space is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join its growing in-house legal team. The Role This is a growth role that will see up work closely with senior stakeholders across the business and play a key role in front-end construction and projects work. Your responsibilities will include: Reviewing and advising on construction contracts at tender stage, including D&C, EPC, GC21 and ECI agreement Advising tender teams on risk allocation, delays, EOTs, termination and suspension, security and retention regimes, scope and pricing Leading post-tender negotiations with clients and subcontractors Providing pragmatic legal advice to construction, commercial and corporate stakeholders Supporting governance and best-practice legal risk management across the organisation You will be involved in high-profile infrastructure projects across roads, rail, water/waste, renewable energy and other critical infrastructure. The Ideal Candidate 8 - 12 years PQE in front-end construction/projects law. Background from a leading construction practice and/or a top-tier in-house construction or infrastructure environment. Renewable Energy experience will be a bonus. Strong commercial judgement with the ability to advise calmly and confidently in fast-paced environments.
