About the Role You will oversee the daily performance of a customer‑facing operation, ensuring all retail, operational and service objectives are achieved. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating staff, managing workflow priorities, maintaining operational standards and supporting revenue growth across the branch. You will also work closely with senior leadership to implement strategies that improve productivity, customer engagement and business performance. This position requires a hands‑on approach and the ability to confidently manage competing priorities across sales, operations and team leadership. Core Responsibilities Oversee daily site activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Drive sales outcomes through customer engagement and relationship management. Build and maintain a positive, accountable and results‑focused team culture. Manage staff performance, training, onboarding and ongoing development. Coordinate stock availability, incoming product movement and inventory accuracy. Ensure operational procedures and internal systems are consistently followed. Monitor site costs, labour allocation and overall operational efficiency. Resolve customer concerns professionally while maintaining strong service standards. Maintain timely communication across internal departments and support functions. Review operational processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Prepare customer quotes, follow up opportunities and assist in converting enquiries into sales. Ensure administrative tasks, reporting and workflow management are completed accurately and on time. What We’re Looking For Essential Experience & Attributes Previous leadership experience within a retail‑focused business environment. Strong ability to motivate teams and drive performance outcomes. Commercial mindset with confidence working toward sales and operational targets. Experience coordinating inventory, logistics or operational workflow. Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making capability. Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills. High level organisational ability with strong attention to detail. Confidence using business management, POS or inventory systems. Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of outcomes. Experience within large‑format retail, trade sales or showroom environments. Exposure to warehousing or distribution operations.
