RG Mining Consulting is in an exciting growth phase and we are seeking a motivated Senior Manager – Technical with deep open cut coal experience, strong strategic mine planning capability, and proven technical leadership experience. This role is suited to an ambitious Technical Services Manager, Mine Planning Manager, or senior site-based technical leader who wants broader exposure across consulting, advisory, operational support, commercial work, and project development. The role will involve a mix of client-facing technical assignments, operational support, site engagement, and advisory work. Some travel to client operations will be required, with the specific working arrangement to be discussed during the recruitment process. We work with mining companies, private equity, and private credit investors, supporting projects from exploration through to development and operations. You will work directly with clients, senior stakeholders, investors, and decision-makers while helping shape the technical direction and growth of the business. We are looking for someone who is technically strong, commercially minded, innovative, and ambitious. The right person will have a growth mindset, think ahead of the curve, be eager to adopt modern systems and AI technology, and want a high-autonomy role with real influence.
