As our new Transmission Lines Engineer you will join the NSW & ACT Energy team based in Sydney, shaping the future of Australia’s renewable energy grid. You will design and deliver projects from solar and wind farms to BESS, pumped hydro and major transmission infrastructure, working on day‑to‑day projects as well as large Design & Construct programmes. Your Role Will Include Lead and deliver designs across HV transmission line projects (33kV to 500kV). Support bids and tenders across a spectrum of contracting models, from direct utility maintenance packages to complex D&C of Renewable Energy Zones. Apply knowledge of Australian Standards (AS/NZS 1170.2, AS/NZS 7000, AS 4100), the PLS software suite (PLS‑CADD, TOWER & POLE) and HV design. Collaborate with state utilities, contractors, joint ventures and alliances to accelerate Australia’s renewable‑energy future. Mentor early‑career engineers and strengthen the team. You’ll have a genuine passion for building Australia’s future energy grid and we’re looking for someone with Skills A degree in Civil/Structural, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). 4+ years’ experience in transmission line engineering with hands‑on design delivery. Proficiency with PLS‑CADD (and ideally PLS‑POLE and PLS‑TOWER). Strong collaboration and problem‑solving skills, working across diverse teams and clients. #J-18808-Ljbffr
