About the role We are actively seeking an Associate with expertise in workplace relations & safety law to join a well-regarded Sydney specialist team. The team provides advice to a broad range of clients, including large and small corporates, government bodies, and statutory authorities. It is an employer-focused practice representing both public and private sector employers across various industries and collaborates closely with our Commercial team on dynamic transactional matters. Key responsibilities Providing both contentious and non-contentious employment law advice to a variety of clients. Managing client relationships and leading legal matters, with a focus on workplace relations, industrial relations, and safety law. Collaborating with the Commercial team on diverse transactional matters, ensuring comprehensive legal support across various sectors. Contributing to the growth and development of the practice, with opportunities for career advancement based on merit. About you 3+ years PAE in workplace health and safety, working within an established and reputable employment law practice. Solid knowledge of workplace relations, industrial relations, and work health and safety law. Proven experience advising on employment-related matters within the context of commercial transactions. Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to legal work. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills for building effective relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
