Senior Lecturer (Clinical Years Curriculum), School of Medicine – Fremantle Campus Part‑time opportunity (0.8), Continuing contract Level C from $137,639 + 14.50% super (pro‑rata) About the role Support delivery of the clinical years MD curriculum at the Fremantle campus. Work to ensure an up‑to‑date, integrated curriculum aligned across the national MD programme, with a focus on medical education and curriculum development. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with key stakeholders (National Head of Curriculum, curriculum team, Heads of Disciplines) to coordinate delivery of the clinical years curriculum at the Fremantle campus, including the back‑to‑base programme. Support development and maintenance of the national clinical years curriculum database, including course outlines, handbooks, and policy/procedure documentation. Maintain an up‑to‑date curriculum map aligned to graduate outcomes. Contribute to ongoing review and continuous improvement of the MD curriculum, incorporating student feedback. Liaise with the Assessment team, Discipline Heads, and Domains to gather input on the clinical years curriculum. Manage Fremantle clinical years Blackboard sites, ensuring accuracy, currency, and organisation of information. Deliver teaching across the program, including PBL, small‑group learning, immersion experiences, and lectures. Attend relevant school and external committee meetings. Qualifications, skills & experience Possession of a medical qualification and a fellowship of a relevant professional body or a doctoral qualification of equivalent accreditation and standing. More than five years teaching at Masters level or higher in medical, health or professional practice or higher education sector. Experience in curriculum design and delivery in medical education settings, preferably in a tertiary education context. Ability to effectively liaise with academic colleagues and work both as a member of a team and independently. Excellent interpersonal, organisational, negotiation and networking skills. Ability to apply clinical knowledge to manage course‑related curriculum issues and to develop, implement and review a wide range of course materials. Excellent understanding of the e‑learning environment. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and Web‑based applications. Benefits Fitness Passport on offer.
