About the Role As a Rostering Coordinator at CSBS, you are at the centre of service continuity. You ensure people receive the right supports, at the right time, delivered by the right people — even when circumstances change quickly. This role is active, people‑facing, and operationally critical . You’ll work closely with support workers, Operations Managers , and corporate teams to coordinate rosters across multiple services, respond to emerging needs, and make practical decisions that balance people, compliance, and care. The role is based in Mudjimba or Murarrie , with flexibility to support focused, sustainable ways of working. What You’ll Be Doing Coordinate and maintain rosters across SIL and community services, supporting continuity and stability Respond to real‑time changes including leave, unplanned absences, and urgent service needs Work collaboratively with support workers to understand availability, preferences, and capacity Partner with Operations Managers to resolve coverage gaps and anticipate workforce risks Manage shift swaps, redeployments, and roster adjustments within award and compliance requirements Escalate for approval when decisions exceed delegation (e.g. agency use, overtime) Communicate clearly, respectfully, and calmly — especially in time‑pressured situations Use rostering systems and dashboards to monitor coverage, hours, and workforce utilisation Contribute to a culture of shared responsibility, transparency, and person‑centred practice This is a role where thinking, communicating, and coordinating all happen at once — and where your judgement matters. About You You bring strengths that support both people and systems. You’re organised, adaptable, and steady under pressure.
