2027 Graduate Midwifery Group Practice Program Requisition No: 7592 Executive Division: People Culture & Communications Department: Graduate On Board Enterprise Agreement: Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Health Sector) Job Function: Midwifery Location: Joan Kirner Women’s & Children’s (St Albans) and Bacchus Marsh Hospitals Employment type: Full‑time, ongoing Salary: RM Grade 2 plus superannuation and salary packaging Western Health is recruiting for the 2027 Graduate Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) Program at the Joan Kirner Women’s & Children’s and Bacchus Marsh campuses. The first‑year cohort will receive early career support within the MGP model caring for consumers across the pregnancy continuum. The program runs at 80 hours per fortnight, with intakes from February to July 2027. In the second year, graduates may undertake two postgraduate equivalent theoretical subjects and additional rotations.
