We are seeking to engage skilled professionals with Defence or Defence industry experience to join our permanent workforce and support complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australias future. Downer Professional Services comprises of three business units our Technical, Advisory, and Capability consulting practice, and Team Downer, which partners with CASG and NSSG as a major service provider to Defence. Together, we are a multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for clients across Defence and National Security. We are looking for Security Analyst to support the ongoing delivery of ICT Security Management functions and strengthen the security posture of defence ICT environment. Prior experience working within Defence environment /projects will be highly regarded. Key Responsibilities Conduct pre-assessment activities, inclusive of producing technical and system-level security documentation. Activities to be undertaken IAW Defence Cyber Security Assessment and Authorisation Framework, and relevant Government policy including the Information Security Manual (ISM). Engage with AHQ, CJC, CASG, DDG and internal LNIC staff to develop project or capability-specific system documentation, including the preparation for submission to DDG for endorsement and approval by DDG. Develop, support and maintain SAA frameworks, processes and engagement with key stakeholders. Qualifications Hold a relevant industry information systems security certification Detailed understanding of the PSPF, DSPF, ISM and other relevant ICT Security Standards such as ISO. Experience in ICT Information Security or ICT Security Architecture, preferably with Defence deployable communications network systems Experience with the Defence Cyber and Information Assurance Branch, and the Defence Cyber Security Assessment and Authorisation Framework. Experience in ICT Security Risk Management and methodologies will be highly regarded. Due to the nature of the work, you are required to currently hold a Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth. In some instances, compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements may also be an inherent requirement.
