We operate in three distinct areas: Wills and estate planning Building and construction Commercial litigation (shareholder oppression, insurance disputes and professional and trustee liability) This role is focused predominantly on wills and commercial litigation. Role Description This is a full‑time on‑site role for an Associate Lawyer specialising in wills/estates and litigation, based in either our Melbourne CBD office or Torquay location. The Associate Lawyer will be responsible for drafting and reviewing wills and estate plans and advising clients on estate disputes, representing clients in litigation proceedings, conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, and providing strategic legal solutions. They will engage directly with clients to understand their needs and effectively manage cases from inception to resolution. Qualifications Experience in estate planning, will drafting, and handling estate disputes Strong knowledge of litigation processes, including case management and dispute resolution Proficient in legal research, document preparation, and analysing complex legal issues Demonstrated client‑facing skills, including excellent communication and ability to build strong client relationships Proactive approach to case management with attention to detail and strong organisational skills Applicants must hold a relevant law degree and be admitted to practice as a lawyer in Australia Experience in property or corporate liability law is advantageous Seniority level Entry level Employment type Other Job function Legal Industries Law Practice #J-18808-Ljbffr
