Fixed‑Term Employment Register The Clinical Lead Allied Health Professional Employment Register provides the Department of Health with a pool of experienced and skilled people who can be called upon at short notice. Interested candidates may submit their application to be considered for duties on a fixed‑term or casual basis. The register will remain open until 30 June 2027 and will be reviewed regularly. Salary $123,717 to $134,336 per annum. Access to the Year 4Q progression point of $134,336 is subject to successful completion of a relevant Master’s Degree. Classification Allied Health Professional Level 4 Award Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2022 Location South, North and North West Duties Provide expert‑level allied health specialist clinical advice enabling delivery of high‑quality patient care for patients with complex care requirements. Develop and promote effective partnerships within the Tasmanian Health Service and with external community service providers for liaison, education and support for complex and high‑risk patients. Provide authoritative specialist clinical advice on the development of policies and the delivery of services across the continuum of care. Essential Requirements Satisfactory completion of an appropriate course of study at a recognised tertiary institution and registration with the relevant Board, or, for unregulated professions, eligibility for membership of the relevant professional association. Pre‑Employment Checks Conviction checks in the following areas: Crimes of Violence, Sex‑Related Offences, Serious Drug Offences, Crimes involving dishonesty, Identification check, Disciplinary action in previous employment, Current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration where applicable.
