The Role We’re hiring a Modelling Analyst – Credit Risk & Advanced Analytics to join our Risk and Modelling team. This is a hands‑on role suited to early‑career professionals with a strong quantitative background who want real exposure, real responsibility, and the opportunity to deepen their technical capability in a commercial environment. You’ll work closely with our Director of Modelling, Risk team, and Data & Analytics, gaining end‑to‑end exposure across a wide range of modelling and advanced analytics use cases in a fast‑moving fintech environment. What You’ll Do Develop, enhance, and monitor credit risk and decisioning models Apply advanced analytics techniques across use cases such as fraud detection, forecasting, and optimisation Work with real lending data across the full modelling lifecycle – from data preparation through to deployment and monitoring Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve model and portfolio performance Partner with stakeholders across Risk, Marketing, and Collections to solve complex business problems Translate analytical outputs into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders Contribute to model governance, documentation, and best‑practice standards What We’re Looking For Master’s or PhD in a quantitative field (e.g. Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Studies, Economics or similar) Strong foundation in statistical modelling and analytical techniques Experience building predictive models (e.g. regression, tree‑based models such as XGBoost) Working knowledge of Python, R, SQL, or similar tools Ability to translate business problems into data‑driven solutions Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail Clear communicator who enjoys working with both data and people (Experience in lending, financial services, or credit risk is a plus, but not required) What You’ll Get Exposure to a wide range of modelling techniques (from traditional statistics to machine learning and optimisation) A real seat at the table – your work will directly influence business decisions Supportive, inclusive, and fast‑paced culture CBD office, snacks, team events, and wellbeing initiatives Strong career growth in a growing fintech #J-18808-Ljbffr
