About RANZCOG The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) is the leading standards body responsible for the training and education of specialists and GP obstetricians in obstetrics and gynaecology in Australia and New Zealand. Role Overview An experienced and highly organised project coordinator will support and coordinate ongoing and new projects, as well as assigned committees. Key Responsibilities Assist with the smooth delivery of projects, including coordinating relevant meetings (online and in‑person), preparing agendas and reports, recording minutes, and managing follow‑up actions. Assist with maintaining project registers and supporting documentation. Assist in the design, development and continuous improvement of workshops and learning activities. Provide coordination to assigned committees and working groups (online and in‑person), including preparing agendas, recording minutes, managing follow‑up actions and supporting related sub‑projects. Assist in preparing documents and proposals for RANZCOG committees, including circulation to relevant interest groups (e.g. College members and staff) and collation of feedback. Assist with delivering timely communications to relevant audiences in consultation with the Communications team. Assist in maintaining relevant webpage content. Liaise with staff from other directorates, committee members, fellows, trainees and external interest groups to share or obtain information relevant to activities. Key Selection Criteria A tertiary qualification or an equivalent combination of relevant training and/or work experience in administration and committee support, preferably in an educational or health setting. Sound experience supporting projects, committees or similar bodies within a professional administrative environment. Demonstrated experience assisting in the design, development and continuous improvement of workshops and learning activities. Excellent written communication skills, with strong attention to detail and a proven ability to prepare accurate meeting agendas, minutes, reports and correspondence for diverse audiences. High level of computer literacy, including demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite. Experience facilitating online meetings using Zoom, Teams or other videoconferencing platforms. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and implement improvements to procedures and processes. Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines while delivering high‑quality outcomes. Well‑developed interpersonal skills and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of individuals and groups. Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Genuine interest in and commitment to women’s health and health education, with a positive attitude toward ongoing professional development within an educational setting.
