Your opportunity – CEO Executive Administration Lead We have a rare opportunity for an exceptional executive support professional to step into a pivotal role at the centre of the CEO Office, enabling our CEO to operate with clarity, focus and momentum across a complex and high‑profile agenda. This is a pivotal role within the CEO Office, suited to a deeply experienced Executive Assistant operating in complex, governance‑driven environments. You’ll act as a trusted adviser, exercising sound judgement, optimising the CEO’s time and attention, and ensuring critical matters progress with pace, discretion and precision. You’ll operate at the centre of a fast‑paced, high‑impact environment, where your ability to stay ahead directly shapes how work progresses at the most senior level. Based in Brisbane CBD, this is a permanent, full‑time opportunity. Purpose That Counts - What you’ll be doing In this role, you will: Proactively manage the CEO’s calendar, aligning commitments with strategic and operational priorities. Coordinate executive meetings, Board engagements, travel and key events. Prepare high‑quality briefings, correspondence, presentations and supporting materials. Act as a central coordination point across the Board, ELT and government, ensuring alignment on priorities and timely decision‑making. Provide guidance and mentoring to the broader EA/PA cohort, supporting positive culture, alignment and capability growth. Triage and prioritise incoming requests, determining appropriate action and escalation. Track actions and commitments, ensuring timely follow‑through and accountability. Maintain strong standards of governance, confidentiality and information management. Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance executive support practices. People Who Count - What you’ll bring You bring extensive experience supporting a CEO in a complex environment, paired with a calm, confident and highly capable approach. Along with: Extensive experience managing complex diaries, competing priorities and high volumes of sensitive information. A proven ability to act as a trusted adviser, anticipating needs, shaping priorities and managing or resolving matters before escalation. Strong judgement in triaging requests, with the ability to assess risk, urgency and business impact. Experience supporting Board and senior executives, including preparing briefings and Board papers, coordinating meetings and enabling timely, well‑informed decision‑making. Highly developed stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging across Board, government and senior leadership environments. A disciplined approach to managing information flow, correspondence, briefings and papers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Demonstrated experience improving administrative systems, workflows or executive support practices. Experience leading and working across EA/PA teams as a trusted mentor, supporting capability growth, promoting positive culture and consistency across ways of working. We also encourage you to highlight any relevant tertiary qualifications and transferable experience you can bring to the role. A current and unrestricted Driver Licence will be required.
