Overview Manager, Commercial Finance - Asset Management, 13 month parental leave contract; you'll play a key role in driving the financial performance of a dedicated portfolio of high‑quality assets. You will own the financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting and long‑term modelling that help shape strategic decisions across the portfolio. This is a highly visible, business‑partnering role where you'll work closely with portfolio managers, property and asset teams, accounting, and senior stakeholders. Your insights will directly influence commercial decisions and contribute to the long‑term success of Mirvac's asset portfolio. What You'll Be Doing Financial Leadership & Analysis: Lead the preparation and review of annual budgets, reforecasts, P&L analysis, capital plans, internal fees, valuations, long‑term forecasts and returns across your property portfolio. Provide timely, accurate and insightful commentary to inform decision‑making. Conduct cashflow modelling, IRR analysis, sensitivity and variance modelling to evaluate new opportunities. Partner closely with portfolio teams to build scenarios and guide strategic recommendations. Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver financial inputs for strategic asset plans, monthly forecasts, quarterly reporting packs, corporate reporting and ad‑hoc analysis. Process, Systems & Data Improvements Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives‑enhancing reporting, streamlining processes, and strengthening data quality across key systems. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Work with teams across accounting, property, asset management and finance to ensure strong information flows, data integrity and best practice outcomes. Support colleagues across the portfolio and asset management finance teams. Valuations & Transactions Support Assist the valuations manager with valuation packs and analysis of key valuation movements. Support acquisition and divestment due diligence, helping onboard and offboard assets seamlessly. What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Property or a related field. Post‑graduate qualifications (CPA, CA, CFA) are highly regarded. 5+ years' experience in a similar environment, with strong financial modelling, analysis and interpretation skills. Advanced Excel capability; experience with Cougar, MRI SP or Anaplan is a strength. High attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across local and interstate teams. Strategic thinking: you can anticipate information needs and present insights that enable timely decisions.
