Supervisor – AUS – Eastern Creek, Kangaroo Avenue The purpose of an Operational Supervisor is to ensure the smooth, efficient, and safe day‑to‑day running of operations within a team or function, while delivering against performance targets. Your typical day at DSV: Direct, monitor and manage the activities of team leaders in management functions to extend individual skills and achieve overall objectives Meet financial targets as set and agreed with the board of management In accordance with Branch/Corporate policy, employ, develop and administer qualified staff to ensure a high standard of client satisfaction Undertake department and staff performance reviews in accordance with DSV commitments to its ISO 9002 accreditation Ensure DSV WH&S policy and procedures are implemented and maintained Ensure compliance with department and corporate operational procedure as laid down in DSV procedures, recommending appropriate changes as required Introduce and maintain day‑to‑day operations standards Attend to other duties as deemed necessary by the Operations Manager Assist in identifying potential prospective customers to Sales and marketing Assist Business development, Sales and marketing in the development of operational proposals and activity costing About you: Experience in the Freight Forwarding/Logistics industry Highly experienced in building and maintaining Customer Relationships Experience in rostering and staff allocation Strong knowledge with using WMS and Transport Systems We welcome everyone from all walks of life including First Nations Peoples, Veterans, and people of all ages, genders, and abilities.
