Responsibilities Manage Primary Engineering in designing distribution and transmission systems (22kV to 500kV). Oversee the development of substation layout designs, clearance studies, and earthing systems. Manage multiple projects, ensuring quality deliverables, timely execution, and budget adherence. Effectively manage resources and project allocation. Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and innovation. Liaise with clients and stakeholders, representing Jacobs as a trusted technical advisor. Qualifications Proven experience in HV Primary Electrical Engineering, with a focus on substation design. Leadership skills with the ability to guide and develop a technical team. General engineering understanding of CAD software such as MicroStation, AutoCAD or REVIT. Excellent project management and client relationship skills. In‑depth knowledge of Australian standards and industry best practices (National Electricity Rules, AEMO Guidelines and Safety in Design). Current CPEng and NER registrations.
