Overview Level 3 Support Engineer (Network & Security Focus) – Brisbane / Sunshine Coast | Hybrid We are working with a growing Australian technology consultancy as they expand their Managed Services team across Queensland. This is an opportunity for a senior, hands-on engineer to step into a Level 3 role with a strong focus on networking, security, and complex client environments. The Role You will act as a senior escalation point across a diverse client base, working on complex incidents while also contributing to ongoing improvements and project work. This is not a purely reactive support role. You will be expected to take ownership of issues end-to-end, engage with clients, and contribute to the improvement of customer environments. Key Responsibilities Act as the final escalation point for complex technical issues Troubleshoot across networking, firewall, and infrastructure environments Support and optimise Fortinet, SD-WAN, and secure WAN environments Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions Work across Microsoft 365, Azure, and server infrastructure Contribute to projects, migrations, and system improvements Mentor Level 1 and Level 2 engineers Engage directly with clients and internal stakeholders Skills and Experience Experience in a Level 3 Support or Senior Network/Infrastructure role Background in an MSP, managed services, or multi-client environment Strong networking fundamentals (routing, switching, VPNs, DNS, DHCP) Experience with firewalls (Fortinet highly regarded) Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to take ownership of issues Confident communication skills and client-facing experience Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or Fortinet NSE4 Experience with SD-WAN or secure WAN environments Exposure to automation or cloud platforms What’s on Offer Salary in the range of $135k + super Exposure to complex, enterprise-level environments A growing organisation with clear progression opportunities A balance of support and project work A collaborative and technically capable team #J-18808-Ljbffr
