You’ll play a key role in shaping the operational strategy, introducing automation, process improvement, and digital transformation initiatives that enhance customer experience and reduce cost‑to‑serve. Lead and inspire your team to deliver operational excellence, safety, and service outcomes. As well as BAU, you will be leading some interesting supply chain projects and business improvement practices Oversee all aspects of distribution operations from inbound and inventory management to outbound freight, B2B/B2C fulfilment, and customer delivery Identify and implement process automation and robotics initiatives to increase efficiency and scalability Partner with national supply chain and commercial teams to align DC operations with broader business goals Apply data and analytics (Power‑BI, WMS/ERP insights) to improve productivity, accuracy, and decision‑making Champion a continuous improvement mindset across safety, quality, cost, and service metrics Build a high‑performing culture through coaching, training, and clear communication Experience Required At least 8+ years’ experience leading large‑scale warehousing or distribution operations (ideally within e‑commerce, manufacturing, or 3PL environments) Worked with CAPEX and modernisation projects across the Distribution landscape Demonstrated success implementing lean or continuous improvement programs, robotics, or automation projects Strong financial and operational acumen, with experience managing multi‑million‑dollar budgetsA collaborative leadership style that engages, motivates, and develops teams Proficiency in WMS/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Manhattan) and data visualisation tools (Power‑BI or similar) Commitment to high safety standards and an ability to lead cultural change Tertiary qualifications in business, logistics, or supply chain management (MBA or Lean Six Sigma advantageous) How to Apply If you’re a distribution leader ready to make a lasting impact and help shape the future of regional logistics, we’d love to hear from you.
