An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced construction disputes lawyer to join a highly regarded national Construction, Infrastructure & Projects team. This role offers exposure to complex and high-profile construction disputes and advisory matters across both the private and public sectors. Working within a collaborative and growing national practice, you will advise sophisticated clients across the full project lifecycle, including institutional investors, government bodies, developers and other key industry participants. About the Role This position will see you working closely with experienced senior practitioners on a broad range of construction and infrastructure matters, with a strong focus on disputes work, including: Construction and infrastructure disputes across all stages of project delivery Security of payment adjudications Formal dispute resolution in courts and tribunals Contract negotiation and project documentation Procurement and project delivery advisory work Risk management and dispute avoidance strategies Supporting clients through construction, project delivery and post-completion disputes The practice acts for a diverse range of stakeholders across the construction industry, providing excellent variety and exposure to significant projects and complex legal issues. About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: 5 years’ post-admission experience within a reputable construction practice Strong experience in construction disputes and security of payment matters Experience appearing in courts and tribunals in NSW Excellent drafting, negotiation and analytical skills Strong communication and client management capabilities A proactive and commercially minded approach The ability to mentor and support junior lawyers and paralegals A genuine interest and passion for the construction and infrastructure sector #J-18808-Ljbffr
