We are proud to be partnering with a key Global Health provider on a major digital transformation initiative and are looking to place a Test Manager on a 2 year fixed term basis. Open to Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane. About the Role The Test Manager will be responsible for defining and managing the test strategy and process for IT projects, leading the test team, engaging with project stakeholders and requirements and designing and communicating test progress and results to project stakeholders. The Test Manager will oversee the testing and quality assurance of a Data Migration project. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions that meet our client’s needs. What you’ll be doing End-to-End Test Ownership: Direct the entire testing lifecycle for UKG initiatives, including the design of test strategies, planning, resource estimation, execution oversight, defect resolution, and executive reporting. Test Phase Leadership: Head all phases of testing, including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression, end-to-end integration, payroll cycle validation, and post-deployment production checks. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the central point of contact, aligning business stakeholders, external vendors, HR/payroll departments, and technical engineering teams to secure successful project delivery. Integration Verification: Validate data flows and connections between UKG and critical ecosystem platforms, including ERPs, middleware, financial systems, identity access management (IAM) and broader workforce management applications. Risk & Compliance Mitigation: Implement risk-based testing methodologies to guarantee comprehensive validation of high-stakes payroll processing, compliance rules, and time-and-attendance workflows. Environment & Data Management: Oversee the readiness of test environments, coordinate complex test data preparation, and manage release validation protocols. Quality Governance & Metrics: Track QA performance indicators, monitor defect leakage, evaluate delivery risks, and enforce strict adherence to corporate quality standards, governance frameworks, and audit regulations. About you 8+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a strong track record of leading testing teams 5+ years experience working as a Test Manager Relevant tertiary qualification in computer science, software engineering or a related field Migration of UKG Workforce Central (WFC) and UKG Pro Workforce Management (Pro WFM) experience Migration of data experience Testing experience in large complex domains Legacy system experience Proficient in designing and implementing testing strategies for complex software systems Excellent understanding of various testing methodologies, tools and frameworks Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve defects Effective communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work collaboratively in a Waterfall/DevOps environment At AJQ Technology, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and respectful workplace where everyone feels valued and supported.
